Cookies Policy
Cookies Policy
This Cookies Policy explains how Lifted Car Club uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on liftedcarclub.com. It is effective as of September 11, 2026. Please read it so you understand what information is collected through your browser and what choices you have.
What This Policy Covers
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies placed on your device when you visit liftedcarclub.com. It does not cover other websites that may be linked from our site — those sites have their own policies.
This policy applies to all visitors regardless of where you are located, including residents of Nevada and other U.S. states.
What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves to your browser or device when you visit. The site can read that file on future visits. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to gather information about how visitors use a site.
Besides cookies, websites can use similar technologies such as pixel tags — tiny invisible images embedded in a page or email that signal when that page or email was loaded. This policy covers both.
Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies for three main reasons:
- To keep the site working. Some cookies are essential. Without them, features like staying signed in or remembering your booking would break.
- To understand how visitors use the site. Analytics cookies tell us which pages are popular, how long people stay, and where they came from. That helps us improve the site.
- To measure advertising. A cookie from Meta helps us understand how our advertising performs.
The Cookies We Use
The table below lists every cookie our site sets. We group them into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — these run automatically because the site cannot work without them.
- Analytics — these only run after you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Advertising — these only run after you accept them in the cookie banner.
| Cookie | Set by | Category | Expires | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | First party | Strictly necessary | Until you close your browser | Keeps you signed in and remembers your cart or booking while you move between pages. |
| zf_vid | First party | Analytics | 1 year | Tells our own visitor statistics that repeat visits come from the same browser. It holds a random identifier, not your name. |
| zf_sid | First party | Analytics | 30 minutes | Groups the pages you view into a single visit for our own visitor statistics. |
| zinifly_cookie_prefs | First party | Strictly necessary | 1 year | Remembers the cookie choices you made, so we do not ask again on every page. |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Up to 2 years | Google Analytics uses these to measure how the site is used. | |
| _fbp | Meta | Advertising | Up to 3 months | The Meta pixel uses this to measure and target advertising. |
Cookies Set by Other Companies
Some cookies are set by companies whose tools we have added to our site. These companies have their own privacy and cookie policies, which govern how they use the information they collect.
- Google Analytics — measures site usage. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures advertising. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- YouTube / Vimeo — when you play an embedded video, the video platform may set its own cookies. See the privacy policy of the relevant platform for details.
- Google Maps — when a map is loaded on our site, Google may set its own cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not control what those companies do with data they collect through their own cookies.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors find and use our site. We use Google Analytics and our own first-party analytics tools (using the zf_vid and zf_sid cookies) for this purpose.
These cookies do not identify you by name. They collect information such as which pages were visited, how long a visit lasted, and what type of device was used.
Analytics cookies only run on your device after you accept them in the cookie banner when you first visit the site. If you decline or later change your mind, you can turn them off at any time at liftedcarclub.com/cookie-preferences.
Our marketing emails use tracking pixels to measure whether an email was opened and whether links in it were clicked. If you open one of our emails, that signal is recorded. Your email client may give you options to block this, such as turning off automatic image loading.
Advertising and Remarketing Cookies
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets the _fbp cookie. This cookie helps Meta measure how our advertising performs — for example, whether someone visited our site after seeing one of our ads.
This cookie only runs on your device after you accept it in the cookie banner. You can turn it off at any time at liftedcarclub.com/cookie-preferences.
Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Cookie banner. When you first visit our site, a banner appears. Nothing in the Analytics or Advertising categories runs until you make a choice. You can accept or decline those categories right there.
- Preference page. You can review or change your choices by category at any time by visiting liftedcarclub.com/cookie-preferences. A link to that page is also in the site footer. Your updated choice is saved for one year on that device.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Look in your browser's settings or help pages for instructions. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working correctly.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a signal your browser or browser extension can send to tell websites you want to opt out of certain data sharing. Our site reads the GPC signal. If your browser sends it, we treat that as an opt-out of advertising cookies and will not run the Meta Pixel on your device. That opt-out cannot be overridden — even if you previously accepted advertising cookies in our banner, the GPC signal takes effect.
Do Not Track (DNT) is an older browser signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not treat a DNT signal as an automatic opt-out. We encourage you to use the GPC signal or our preference page if you want to control cookies directly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date at the top. We encourage you to check back occasionally. Continued use of our site after the new effective date means you have seen the updated policy.
